To create a rusticate outlook of the bricks or to color the bricks, dry materials for wet bricks as well as liquids for green bricks are used in the Brick Industry and for this application. Several special devices have been developed by De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. to compromise this need. The color can be added to the clay before pressing or sprayed on the wet or dry brick.

Coloring Liquids are stored in containers with a stirring gear. The mixture is transported by means of a hose pump, common rail system and pressure regulator valves to become a constant liquid pressure towards the spraying guns. The spraying guns have wear resistant valves and adjustable nozzles. To prevent clogging filters are installed with a by pass valve.

For dry coloring materials in powder form several types of transport and dosing systems as well as dosing systems have been developed to color the bricks. Coloring powder can sprayed in the mould box or ad to the clay clot before pressing. An other option is to ad the coloring powder to the mould box sanding.
