In the soft mud brick industry single shaft mixers are used for mixing clay with water or steam to become a plasticity that is suitable for the soft mud brick production. For soft mud molding water or steam needs to be added to a clay body up to 30% moisture content. De Boer Machines single shaft mixers do make it possible to increase the water content of the clay body with 10%. The amount of water or steam which is added to the clay body can be electronically controlled by means of dosing device. The single shaft mixer can be equipped with wear resistant plating mounted on the inside of the mixer tub. The mixer paddles and rakes are available with hard facing Tungsten Carbide plating.

De Boer Machines single shaft mixers are available in four sizes. Mixing trough sizes of (WxL) 800x3000, 1200x4500, 1500x5000 und 2000x 5000 mm. Drive power up to 160kW and a volumetric through puts is up to 130 m³/h.
