De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. delivers water purification installation for process water. These installations are of the sedimentation type and separate fine settled, dissolved and floating dusts such as sand, clay, additives and sawdust.

As a first step, it is optional (advisable) to let the water pass a hydro cyclone. This to undo the water from sand. In the hydro cyclone, the centrifugal force separates the sand form the water. Due to its gravity, sand falls out of the cyclone, and can be reused in the process.

The water undone from sand is transported further to the clearing unit.
