Green brick cleaning and sand extraction is the first step to prevent dust in the heavy clay industry.

Green bricks coming from dryers contain loose sand and little lumps of clay. When turned over on the setting machine or in turners, falling san may cause dust contamination and excessive wear on machinery.

For the removal of this surplus sand of green bricks, a sand extraction installation is very useful.

With a high under pressure fan, air is extracted at a position just above the green brick after discharge from the dryers, taking the sand of the bricks.

Extraction hoods

For this purpose special extraction hoods are designed and fitted on the most suitable position. The construction of the extraction hoods is such that it combines maximum extraction capacity with a low air consumption to safe energy.

Transport system and Cyclone

The polluted air is taken through a wear resistant ductwork to a cyclone where sand and air are separated.

The discharge air from the high under pressure fan contains dust and should be cleaned in the wet filter.
